Dear friends of MAAG,
As we close the year, we wanted to reflect on 2018, the year when MAAG was created following the demise of the MAA at the beginning of this year.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all who have been on the journey with us thus far and for all of your support, in particular to our Advisory Board, sponsors, partners, tutors, coaches, Diploma students and most of all our Members.
We have an exciting and full packed programme for 2019 including:
- The Groups (New Business, Creative, CEO, Commercial, Future Leaders)
- GreenJam
- #DoDifferent Awards
- MAA Globes
- Training and Development “Morning on.." half day training
- Diploma 2019
In addition, the introduction of our Mental Health and Wellbeing programme featuring the 'Festival of Happiness'.
We look forward to continuing to add value to the MAAG community and together making a difference to the industry as a whole.

An audience with David Wethey, author of The Very Idea and Jon Leach, The Idea Economist, and collaborator on David’s book.
Ideas are the source of all progress, growth and change in the world. Problem solving, critical thinking and creativity are becoming the three most important workplace skills. It’s what agencies do now, but we need far more ideas from far more people to plug the idea deficit.
David will expose practical tips on how to use your Idea Brain better. He will talk about his extensive experience in the agency ideas business, the last 30 of which have been running pitches. Jon will demonstrate Idea Economics in action and share examples of the maths that help quantify creativity.
