MAAG unveiled an award to honour Mike Spicer
The Mike Spicer Award is a new addition to this year’s Diploma. This will be awarded to the Diploma candidate that the course tutors select as the most promising agency future leader. The winner of the award will receive £2,500 which will fund a student of their choice on the Diploma in a 'pass it forward' scholarship. The balance will be made available to spend on travel or an experience, keeping the Spicer legacy alive for generations of future leaders.
MAAG Director Clive Mishon said: “Mike was a fantastic mentor to many of those coming through the agency ranks throughout his distinguished career. We hope this award and the scholarship to ‘pass it on’ to other Diploma candidates means that Mike’s legacy will go on and on.”
Rupert Postlethwaite “Opia Risk is delighted to sponsor the Mike Spicer Award for the top performing Diploma graduate as, like Mike, we are very keen to support the development of future agency talent. It provides a fitting legacy to Mike’s significant contribution to agency life”.

MAAG – Diploma in Integrated Marketing launched!
All spaces filled. A successful launch meeting and first workshop full of enthusiasm and excitement.
A note from one of our star tutor's on how the Diploma began…
“When we designed this course we posed ourselves the following questions. What would we need to know if we were starting out on our careers now? What is the essential knowledge and the new knowledge? And how should you operate in order to progress quickly in your careers - what are the important business skills needed to succeed? So this course is designed both to cover a lot of ground in a short space of time, and, above all, to give people "practical stuff" they can apply right now in their agencies.”
